Lange Farm Wedding - Dade City FL

I was looking forward to this wedding after our recent engagement shoot. We walked around Ybor City and I can’t remember having so much fun. Their happiness is contagious and the wedding day was no different. Together with their amazing family and friends along with perfect weather, it could not have been a better day. The Lange Farm had the wedding reception room looking as nice as I have ever seen and DJ Rob Vollmar from Grant Hemond Assoc. orchestrated the reception with class and perfection. Enjoy the slide show below the images, all the pictures can be viewed here. The password is the honeymoon destination all lower case.

Grand Plaza destination wedding St. Petersburg Beach – Leona and Brian July | 05 | 2009

“Harley Davidsons, Tatoos, Van Halen.”
Those three things might not automatically make you think of a wedding day, but Leona and Brian aren’t your typical bride and groom. But behind a seemingly tough image, they are one of the sweetest couples I have worked with. And even with it being a rainy day, that didn’t stop us from finding some beautiful light all day (and night) long. Thanks to Kristi at the Grand Plaza who had everything running smooth. Despite not seeing the sun even once all day we managed to run out in between showers for portraits. Thanks to “the more than just a DJ” Rob of Sword Sounds for helping out with some lighting as we dashed in and out of the rain. Friends and family can view and order images here. The password is the home state of Leona in lowercase.

Jumping in the pool after their wedding at the SandPearl Resort (scroll down the blog) was not enough for us we had to go more extreme. We all set out to the beach on a Sunday (filled with people) to see what we could create. I was in the water the most fearing for my camera as I jumped a wave got low to the surface, take a shot, turn around and look for the next wave and repeat. The camera strap got dunked a few times but no other problems, anything for the shot!
